February

Trip to California
I have stopped insisting on going places when Wesley travels. Jake costs money to travel so taking a trip isn't as easy anymore. BUT, Wesley had to travel 2 weeks in a row. The second week was to San Jose, California and he invited myself and the kids to come along. It was great because Felecia had just had her baby a couple of weeks before and I went to visit. My parents were also there and Amanda came down from Auburn. Lea decided to make trip for the week as well since we were all together. It was so much fun!

I miss California weather. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love having seasons, but when you visit the bay area in February and don't have ato we

Jake is my favorite kind of traveler now. He does amazing! He's the perfect age to fly with. He was so fun on the plane.

Our flight going home was pretty empty. I mean, we had the entire back of the plane to ourselves... so nice! When we boarded a flight attendant invited Jake to go with her to the cockpit to meet the pilot. He loved it! It was by far, the best flight I've been on. I loved the flight attendants!
Valentine's Day
I thought I had a picture, but I guess not. We went to La Fondue and then walked down 16th Street Mall. It was a great evening. I highly recommend doing fondue. We tend to be business eaters, eat quickly and go. But with fondue, you have to take your time. We sat for almost 3 hours eating our appetizer, dinner and dessert. I loved it. And then we both bought new work out shoes at the Nike store half off. I love sales!

February Stuff
Tell me Cooper isn't adorable!

We got tickets to see the Nuggets play the Phoenix Suns. We got a sitter and have a wonderful evening there. I have to say, I pretty much hate sports. I love going to games and can get into it, but on t.v. at home, yeah, nah, I'll pass! For some reason, I have enjoyed watching Steve Nash play. I found myself excited when he came onto the court.

Jake learned in Nursery about the frowny/happy smile song. He came home and sang it to us. Here's the frowny face:
And the happy face!

Superbowl Sunday at Clint and Kara's. It was sooo good! Potato skins, french dip, it was all so good!

They can't get enough of the ball pit
Any time Jake sees Wes get out his tools, Jake runs for his backpack to assist. I needed more nails put up to hang my necklaces and Jake insisted on helpingHe's too cute I think
Why are hampers so much fun?
I make bets with Wesley all the time. The things we usually bet are back rubs, hand rubs, feet rubs. I usually lose and never pay up. This one particular day I owed him a foot rub and boy did I deliver! I gave him chocolates and sparkling cider
We trade off every Sunday eating with Clint and Kara. While at their house one Sunday, I went looking for Jake and found he and Maddie with toys and blankets in the tub... these 2 are quite the pair!

Playing at Little Monkey Bizness. It's a fun jump place with inflatable slides, jungle gyms, etc.
