Thanksgiving

We were spoiled this year with visitors.  For Thanksgiving, Lea decided to drive out with her kids from Iowa.  Her husband was in Europe until Thanksgiving day so she drove out early to be with us and then he flew in Thanksgiving night.  It was a great visit.  I love my sister.  Wish we lived closer!

 Dinner - although not Thanksgiving - for some reason I didn't capture a good Thanksgiving shot - Boo!

 Fire and smokes... yum!  I was freezing the whole time.  While my 4 year old was so hot he took off his jacket.  I seriously had on layers and layers too.  I tell you, my ideal temp has to be between 70-72 or it just isn't right for me.  

 I'm not sure why I am posting this pic.  I came inside to make hot chocolate and stripped off my layers down to my thermal underwears.  Lea thought it was funny... I look like a funny pregnant lady with man parts.  Oh well...

 Both pregnant together.  So fun.  she is due 3 weeks after me.

 And then we are all sitting enjoying ourselves.  The kids had just come inside and Abby says - hey there's a deer outside.  Sure enough, there was a deer in our backyard.  Not even phased by us being around.  Wes went outside to take pics.  He was a huge deer!

 Date night.  I'm a fan.  Especially fun with another couple.  We went to Thai Basil for dinner, Ikea for fun, and D Bar Desserts for dessert.  The best dessert I've ever had, see below.  It's a waffle, chocolate, and other stuff that made it all so yummy.
