Wesley's parents came in for a visit over Halloween which was a fun treat. We went to a corn maze at Anderson Farms one day. It had all sorts of cute "rides" and such.
Hayride
Weee!
Corn Maze
Barrel Rides - they called it the Red Neck Roller Coaster
Animals, including baby goats and a baby alpaca
Pedal Cars
Kiddie Corn Maze - the kids found it more fun to play on top of the stalks of hay rather than walk through the maze
Ready for lunch
Riding to/from - we swapped kids for the rides, Cooper enjoyed having Maddie's company on the way up
For Christmas last year, I got Wesley a play airplane that he can fly. He'd had one previously, one that would take off with you holding, but was just a tad too small. I thought I'd get him one a little bigger. Much to Wesley's surprise (and mine) this new one was BIG! The wing span was almost as tall as me. It's the kind that needs a runway to take off. We tried it out when Wesley's parents came to visit.
The boys surrounded by the plane. Jake was such a big helper helping put the plane together.
At the nearby school ready to fly the plane, and then taking a fun break at the playground
It's made of styrofoam, need I say more? A lot of tape was used to mend the plane every time it crashed. Here's some pics of fixing the plane, playing, wrestling, potty breaks...
Races and such

Jake's preschool had a little parade one day to show off their costumes. Here's our batman:
Here's our little stinker, Cooper, the skunk:
Our ward had a carnival, with lots of fun activities. One of our favorites was Whack-a-boy. The 12-13 year old boys recreated whack-a-mole and you got to whack them with inflatable hammers. What kid wouldn't love the chance to whack someone?
