End of Summer Stuff

This was the funniest thing to us. Wes walked into the spare bathroom upstairs and found Jake in the sink with his toothbrush and hand soap all over his hair and body. He seemed so happy about it... I know this is only the beginning of what is to come!

Just after he turned 2, Jake was so excited to help with dinner, dishes, anything. He mastered setting the table pretty quick and here's a picture I captured of it

A $1 garage sale pick, this red bucket has become one of the favorites of our kids

He even cleans! He spilled his snack all over the floor and was more than willing to clean it up with the dust buster. I love our dust buster. It is one of my favorite items it the house!


Garlic Chicken stir fry. I found the recipe online and it did not disappoint. As Rachael Ray would say, YUM-O! I read somewhere that it's nice to change things up every once and a while when you have dinner. So we ate on the floor in the living room one day equipped with chop sticks and all!




Cooper used to want to be swaddled all the time. I mean, as soon as I would start to get him all snug in the blanket, he'd relax and go to sleep. This is him at 6 months I think. It was starting to get harder and harder to swaddle him so we eased him out of the swaddle. Our cute little burrito

I've wanted to post this one for a long time. My sister did/does (I'm not sure if she stopped yet or not) Uppercase Living. I got this whale growth chart and put it in our play room. It's the only decoration I've done in the play room so far but I love it!

At the park. Jake was finally able to climb to the top without help. One of my favorite things - when they are able to play at the park without help!

We started up movie night since Jake will actually sit for most of the movie now. We had pizza, popcorn, soda and candy - it couldn't have made it a better night for Jake, he loved it!

And he still loves to mow with daddy. Look closely, you'll see Cooper in the front of Wes, I think he fell asleep. Isn't he a great hubby? He takes both boys outside to mow. One time, he had Cooper in the front and Jake in the backpack...what a sweetheart!
